"I heard a preacher say recently that hope is a revolutionary patience...Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work:  you don't give up."

5 Books On My Nightstand

Quiet by Susan Cain is a look at the introvert in our culture and understanding more of who they are.

Make It Happen by Lara Casey is a powerful book on making the God given dreams you have into reality. It's a look at what hinders you from stepping out into your destiny-such as fear and perfectionism. Lara is very down to earth and transparent as she shares her journey to living a life on purpose.

Simplicity Parenting by Kim John Payne focuses on living out the dreams you have for your family, which may mean simplifying your life, material clutter, or pace of life in order to accomplish them.

God As He Longs For You To See Him by Chip Ingram takes you deeper in your perspective of God and how you see Him. Ingram sheds great light on God's goodness, sovereignty, holiness, wisdom, justice, love and faithfulness.

Wheat Belly by William Davis talks about the negative impact wheat has on our bodies.  It is full of history, research and examples showing how wheat effects insulin resistance, pH balance, heart, skin, the aging process, and much more. Davis encourages a wheat free lifestyle, and gives lots of help (and recipes) to do so.
